Any chance of some help with my ambit 256? :)

Basically im having a few problems, I've look around the internet (mainly google) and ive come to realize my modem (ambit 256) uses a config file to determine the internet speed, I've saw people uncap/increase there internet speed by editing the config file so what im asking is, Can any body help me download/help me edit my config file? I'm sure i can offer a little reward, I wouldn't ask if i wasn't desprate!

or are you talking about a legit modem that you pay virgin media monthly for?

Just to add, if you pay for this modem (i.e you pay Vermin each month for broadband using this modem) DO NOT tamper with it, you will get your fingers burnt (literally if you aren't careful when soldering haha)!
