Default Help with eurovox red !!!!!!!!!!!

hi all the box i have been using for 12 months i think is giving up the box is a eurovox red, over the last couple off weeks it gradually it seems to get worse have check all connections all good and dry outside, sometimes when you turn the box of for a couple off mins it works fine can a faulty component in the box give me this problem really need help please as this is driving us crazy if i dont get this sorted will have to get a new one thanks

you need to tell us what it is doing for us to give you any help mate. if its pixelating its probably the tuner on the way out mate. you will need to try get old of a new or second hand one and desolder old one then resolder new one into box. not to difficult but if your not to clued up theres lots of people on here who are really good at this stuff.

hi thanks mark1976 just checked the modulator if you tap it carefully very bad picture break down....

there you go then. new modulator required. not sure were to find one though. ill have a look around.

mark1976 have checked again it might be a tuner sorry the one the coax goes to showing 8 slots from top if you leave lid on ....

Hi, Christaxi try a visual check unplug box check for movement on legs of tuner unit where they are soldered to main board if you see any re-solder them. Also check the signal line and also where you said you noticed a difference when tapping around. i dont think your far away from solving the problem let us know how you got on
