Default Have i followed correct procedure?

After a period of disuse i have tried to get my box working again. So far I have...

Learnt that I need to obtain the latest keys for my provider externally.

Found out that for Vermin you should use the Telepest codes

Updated these on my box

I have checked that my EMU is set to on

where as I was previously gettin an error message saying 'channel scrambled or bad', I am not getting a box saying that it collecting data, which keeps building up to 100% (sometimes 130%) before just doing the same thing over and over.

What am I doing wrong?

Am I using the correct key? Could it be that the key is out dated as I notice they were released in May this year, however I have read on a few sites that these are the latest ones.

i notice that when i go back into nagravision, my provider at the top is n*l, despite storing as telepest. could this be the issue or is this just a default setting. The codes are still as I set them
