Post Virgin Media customers in Leeds hit with problems

It seems that all was not well with the Virgin Media broadband network over a period of days according to the register.co.uk, with Leeds in the North East of the UK suffering from connection problems with the broadband, TV and phone service.The problems started over the weekend and it seems that they were not restricted [...]

heh, cool. there obv trying some more stuff out in leeds.

maybe they choose leeds because thats where they have the most engineers?

a building site severed some of the fibers close to the head end in seacroft. a mate of mine had to replace 2000meters of cable to fix it

Im not that far away from the seacroft headend and i havn't had any problems connecting or watching anything.

im about 3 miles from seacroft and i didn't experience any problems either.maybe was just restricted to the locality and towards the other direction away from seacroft?

well i dont have a map of the virmin network ( so cant say if that fiber leads to your house) but as the story above said there was an outage and all i know was it was near the buiding site at th wmc
