Turn the box off at the switch at the back, load your choice of software to the usb stick again, after formatting it in FAT32.

Put the usb stick into the box while its still off at the switch. Wait a few moments and then turn it on at the switch, it should say something on the front VFD display. If you do not then see the updated firmware version in sys info (Go to Menu > System > Sys Info) then it did not take the update.

You can now try from the usb menu (Go to Menu > USB > Data Transfer) and press green (TBN UP) it may ask you to confirm, if so press yes, the box will likely update and or reboot, at which point the firmware should then have updated.

If not, post results here, you could also try on a different flash drive, but be sure to format it with FAT32 format, otherwise the box will likely not recognise it.

May I also add
when you put the file onto your stick, did you first extract the file before renaming it flash.tbn

when you download the file it is normally in .rar or .zip format
you have to extract the file first using a program like winrar or winzip, you then rename the extracted file to flash.tbn and put it onto your stick and then follow MorriSoft's instructions
