Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. I got an Email from my brother who lives in Turkey. He says there is a message being shown that as from October 1st, Sky News Interational will no longer be on Astra but to recieve this channel retune your box to transponder 111, frequency 12604 mhz polarity H symbol 22.0 fec 5/6 sid 7290 He has tried retuning on Astra but its not there. He can get it on Nilesat on a different frequency but he prefers Astra because he gets teletext. His question is what satellite is the frequency i have typed above. I would be grateful of any help. Thanks

Its a frequency move nothing more.

The new version is already being transmitted on 19E 12604H 22000 5/6 - I can see both services right now. Only the old version is carrying a scrolling banner.

Note - the new frequency is on Astra 1H which officially doesnt cover Turkey, so he may need a considerably bigger dish to get this particular frequency....
