Default Virgin broadband and phone line cables

Hi, I'm in a digital area and want to ask if the Virgin phone and broadband service now come down the same coax cable. The reason I ask is that in my house there is an old C+W installation that appears to use a seperate two wire connection for the phone line down a seperate cable. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK the phone lines still remain seperate to the coax feed, my house has two cables running to the ntl box on the wall (OUTSIDE), one is the coax (comes inside to white box), the other is very similar to telephone wire, and connects to a telephone socket upstairs, this however, is not a live telephone line anymore as we switched back to BT for phone.

Correct, for most people the incomming cable cosists of a co-ax with an attached pair of copper conductors for the phoneline.
