are vm blocking newsgroup access?

hi guys was wondering if anyone could tell me r vm blocking access to newsgroups,as until yesterday i was using giganews and newsbin pro with no problems at all.went to download something last night was ok for a few seconds and then speed died but still could get internet access.now and again speed shots up but down almost right away.tried different nzb's just to make sure was not one of them.

changed tcp port and tried a different giganews server,but same problem speed picks up and then dies.have uninstalled and reinstalled but same thing.

No they are not blocking mate i just checked.
