more 250 headache

flashed a 250 for the first time last night and after a bit of trial and error it working great ....
but trying to do another 1 today well actually i,v tried 2 a 250 and a 255 but cant get anything to connect putty just stays blank even after reboot of modem ,,,, using putty and tftp32
so tried console unlocker but when i click exacute nothing happens niether fail or o.k
tried connecting via soft jtag it says connecting then connected but instead of modem ready next comes time out error if you click o.k will ignore and try to continue

i did get into the 250 with putty earlier it has p option but when try to write haxo just got time out error over and over so left it went for break came back and now cant connect to anything

selected my com port in putty plus 115200 ,, 8,,1 none ,,none
i,m even using the same saved sesion in putty ,,nothing ,,,new sesion in putty nothing please help

i have flashed about 10 ambit 255 and 1 ambit 250, heres how i always connect max 232 to modem.

it give me successful message in console unlocker everytime.

and then i am able to write boot loader then get into p option in putty and write haxorware rev 32 to modem.

just got some responce from putty but nothing accept

can you get successful message in console unlocker and what are you using laptop or pc. which com port is in use. thanks

im on my pc xp service pack 2 .... no responce from console unlocker ,,comm2 which is what i,m connected to same as i used last night as i never packed everything away just plugged the next modem onto the 232 this morn to start again ....... flashed no prob last night bootloader and haxo

ok can i suggest something i was told by another member on this forum, he told me to change the com port number to 1, to do this go device manager find your serial port connection right click go properties then port settings, then advanced then change com port to 1 the save. now reboot pc reboot modem plug in max 232 to modem exactly like in the picture i showed you. wait 20 seconds for modem to connect to pc. then run console unlocker making sure its says com port 1 then hit exploit. if it doesnt work try the cable diffrent ways on modem till you get successful message. but the way i get successful message by doing it like in picture

yh connecting the leed defo not the prob as worked fine last night using same method as today ... cant understand why would be an error with com port as worked fine last night using port 2 ..

i take it these 2 (1x250 1x255) as i just got another 250 from the back of a friends cupboard plugged it in and straight away worked flashed and is running fine so tried these 2 again and still nothing ............. anyone got an idea of how to unbrick these if it is even possible
