Default v79 software.

there is a new software version v79, on the manhatten website.
you must be aware that if you have your stb patched,
the patches are for v74 software, so if you download v79 software
then patch your receiver it will return to v74 software. i have no
doubt that future patches will be for v79 software. on this note
if you use cams and cards in your stb, you will gain from any
upgrades in the v79 software.

hi lincsat, many thanks for the info i was led to believe that the latest
patch was based on the v74 software, after what you say i am going
to download the v79 from manhatten, to take advantage of keeping
the stb upto date, in the past on the other forum they always said
when later versions of software came out, you had to wait for a patch
to come out for it, and if you patched you would return back to the
previous version. it says no need for a master re-set if useing v68
or above and that makes it a lot easier.

No need to download v79 from Manhattan, the patch includes the base firmware .
