HELP!missing sky sports.desperate

hi there.
forgive me if this is covered elsewhere,i did look but couldnt find a definite answer.
so...........

for a while now , stations have been disapearing from my eurovox.
its the old EV2 silver.
has been working fine, so i have never seen the need to update it.......yet.
bbc3 and kerrang has been missing for ages now, but today SKY SPORTS 1 AND 3 are gone!!!
disaster!!!
i have sky sports 2 tho.
so, i rescanned and they didnt come back.
so i downloaded the latest firmware and bbc 3 and kerrang has returned but not sky sprots as yet.
also sky 2 and sky 3 are mising.
everything else seems to be there.
i am in the oxford area and my old provider was ntl.
i am getting over 400 channels, from 33 transponders.
any help greatly appreciated as i am desperate for a day in tommorow in front of the box watching the footy on sky sports.
its my only day off, so dont make me have to take the mrs around the garden centres.

maybe a factory reset or deep scan may do the trick and save you from pottering round the potting sheds?!good luck mate.p.s.good/funny post.lmao.

i seem to be having the same problem, how do I do a factory reset, as i have tried power scan and also deep scan, and if i do a factory reset will this have any impact on the firmware?

Ok, update, I have managed to work out how to do the factory reset and after the scan it worked yay.

I had lots of probs get premium channels, all scrambled, completed a depp scan and they are all ok, however, skysports1 is unwatchable, its all pixelated, and scrambled over the screen.....

hi ,
so after spending all day today loading on new/same firmware.
deleteing and seaching channels,
powers search, deep search..........we have all been there, right?
finally got it working.

heres how:

the problem was the channel ( sky sports ) was there, but it was just a blank screen,
it would actually tune into sky sports but wouldnt come on.
so i done away with my splitter box, and i put the direct cable feed into mt eurovox and it came thru fine.
this and all my other missing channels.
i assumed the worse and starting digging into it a bit much, too soon.
it just turn out i wasnt getting enough signal strength thru my spliiter box causing some of my channels not to work.
simples???
anywho, although now i have a zillion channels, the next step is to see why i cannot use the splitter box, as i need to keep my genuine box going mainly for catch up tv, etc, or the need to push red when needed - to catch bbc sports when they run over for example.
spliiter box canot be faulty as it works on 95% of channels just a few wont come on thru it.
any ideas?

as it is now tho, i am receiving everything, even stuff that i havent been able to get for months now, with the main cable feed going into my eurovox.
no spitter box.
works fine.
hope this helps out others on here.
