i have a sb5101e and have just flashed it with haxorware just need to change the mac can anyone help plz?? thanks

Now here is how to change the mac address on you modem.
1. Open internet explorer up or what you use for accessing the internet and got to 192.168.100.1, this will open a page.

2. Now you want to click on the addresses link down the left hand side which will open a page.

3. Now what we need to do is open the save macs you have from DHCP Sniffer, starting from the top enter the mac address in HFC MAC. Now in the USB MAC put the same mac in but +1 higger (you can use the calculater on you computer to work this out all you have to do is change view to scientific and click on hex, the calculater wont reconise the first zeros but that ok because we are after the last digit or two). Now if the Ethernet MAC dont read the same as the picture please change it to 00:02:8A

E:AD:02 (you can leave the serial number). After all this click save and reboot.

4. Once the modem has rebooted go to the overview page and wait for everything to lock on in the task status. Once this has completed and modem status says operational give your pc a few miutes to ge the ip address and try to goto google if you cant and get broadband actiavtion page (dont click the link) repete the above step till you get online. You may find you get online 1st go some people can't and it takes a few goes dont wurry as you will get it going after a few atempts.

am stuck on how to work the stuff out i thought you copyed and paste the new mac into all 3
have try doing the calculater stuff dont get it

please could any1 make me unerstand this bit asap
