hey guys, changed my mac a few months ago and i think i ticked factory mode... not sure but i think i did, now i cant access 192.168.100.1 or even get into hyperterminal through com1... help would be good thanks

did you set your ip when using hyper

192.168.100.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.100.1

any more ideas on this? tbh i think i ticked factory mode... not sure is that my prob? i cant get to flash it either and ive just done 5 lol

Just ticked factory mode on this very modem (2meg but hax0r), rebooted and it came straight back up so I don't see why you changing that would cause this - I can still get into web gui and access the modem by hyperterminal.

I have to ask, is the ethernet light continuously (slowly) blinking on your modem? If so, you'll hate to hear it, but sounds very much like its bricked..

Let us know anyway, perhaps there is a different explanation, we shall see

hi mate, power , enet , send , recv is constantly on, looked at it for 10-15mins and no flashing/blinking... sorry

if youve another modem with hax flashed on, then access hax web page with that 1, then change modem (whilst still on hax web page) wait a minute for it to be detected by pc/lappy then refresh page,, has worked for me in the past
insure ip set too

hi folkes ,, if this ever happens to me which it has on occassion ,, i remove the screw in cable ,, reboot the modem and find i can access it through i.e ,, it may be worth a try
