I wouldn't buy one of these for its recording capabilities tbh.
It only has one tuner so it can only record from one transponder and you watch another channel on the SAME transponder. You cannot watch a channel on another transponder whilst recording on a different transponder. I hope you under stand this.
The best way and the best box for recording features is to get a Modified V+ box. These have 3 tuners, so you can record 2 channels whilst watching a 3rd. And doesn't matter which transponder your on.
Also this has a 160gb hdd built in.
You have all the Virgin menu's which makes it look legit and you can also watch HD tv if you have a HD television over HDMI.
