Hi guys, I have been looking at a few forums in regards to cable boxes and ive heard alot about Eurovox ect. What does this box actually do? If I bought one, would it connect to the cable network and allow me to watch all the paid channels for free? Or would I just recieve free to air channels?
Thanks |

Connect to the cable network with a Eurovox and with the special firmware loaded on it and then scan for channels. You will receive all channels available on Virgin, for yes, you got it right. FREE!

i believe I may be in the correct forum! thanks for your help.
ive been looking on google for boxes, I wanted one where I can record and pause like the V+ box. I have found this: Eurovox EX5000 PVR Receiver (wont let me post a link as I have under 10 posts) Is this any good? Are there any other better boxes or other makes like Dbox, starview ect?????? Or is Eurovox the best ones to get? Sorry for all the questions but im new to all this. OH YEAH, and also, will I need to get a basic tv subscription/viewing card to use this box as I only have virgin broadband at the moment, or can I just plug and go with no TV subscription? |

The EX5000 is discontinued. Anyone selling that will be selling clones or a used one. Eurovox's are simple to use especially for a newbie
