Default Help with activating subtitles.

Hi , I have just an Eurovox and I am hard of hearing, but I am unable to turn on the Subtitles. I have tried accessing the menus through simple mode and normal mode and have not been able to activate the subtitles.

I also have sky and my subtitles are working normal when I access their TV channels.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks mrj050,

Afraid it did not work. No response when I hit the yellow button. When I hit text it gives the message english and subtitles off, but will not respond to any button to change the option.

When I press the text button at the left hand side it displays teletext, with 1 english below it, at the right hand side it displays subtitles, 1 english 2 off, the menu will not respond to any buttons.

Subtitles are only broadcasted on SOME channels.
They are NOT available on ALL channels all the time, only on certain programmes.

Thanks badapple, Yes I was aware of this. So I had gone to BBC one when trying to access the Subtitles.

Hi mate, sounds like a bit of a pickle there but I'm rather confused why your menu's are not allowing the selection of subs, especially as you mentioned using BBC1 as a test for it.

Can you tell me which Eurovox you have, and then perhaps we can try to diagnose the issue!

Regards,

MorriSoft

um, obviously somethings not right, should work as long as you are tuned to a channel with subtitles, stumped me.
