hi all i'm a newbee to all this i'm looking to buy a eurovox but dont no wich one to buy can anyone help please.
when i get one will it be like ntl box's that need new codes? if so how do you update many thanks in advance

hi.i was a newbie too so read a few threads and plumped for the eurovox EX1000SL as it seemed the most reliable/newbie friendly.must admit i've had no problems with it so would def recommend it.as for the updating issue,buy from a reliable,trusted site such as lincsat who's a member on this forum and you'll be getting a genuine box(as there are a lot of clones around) and has the latest auto updating firmware already installed on it.

get the new eurovox ex1100sl just a new version of the 1000 and if you buy from lincsat off this site you wont have to worry about clones and im sure he'll help you with any problems you have

If you want PVR then get the EX5100, if you want something that "does the job" then get the EX1100(it also looks really nice), if you want HD, get the EX7000HD

Thats just my sig. Im new to satellite, so I got myself an openmedia 500cs
Theres not much open on sat out there without a subscription a motorised dish is a dish that moves really with a motor

with a genuine one you get quality hardware,firmware with the source code direct from ev,are much more reliable,a cooler cpu.with a clone you get the exact opposite except that theres an increased fire hazard and they cost nearly the same as well!
