Hi
To read and write using the unlimited you will have to use vcp mode so if you havent then try and read up on that, I think there is a stickie on that. As long as you have bk and ird you can use funs or mosc unless you are in an area where its took the 3.7 upgrade where the funs dont work at the minute. At the moment as you dont have the bk you are going to have to get that info off the paired card. Regards |

Has your latop pc got a 9 pin serial port on it, you will not be able to use the infinity to read original mosc cards without connecting a serial lead as well as your usb. Nagra only works in pheonix mode through a serial cable, Its a different matter for funcards, you only need your usb cable, and do not need to go into pheonix mode. but without the correct BK of your mosc card, you cannot write a working funcard. the funcard requires both the correct ird and the bk to work.

Hi
Hence the reason you have to use vcp mode which will allow you to read and write mosc although can be a pain unlike the infinity usb phoenix which has a true serial connection. Regards |

Hi
You say its the Infinity USB Unlimited the white one isnt it.....that will read and write funs and as I said above the mosc using vcp and in phoenix mode. Regards |

Yes, it's the smalle white one
Excellent - seems I bought the right one afterall. I'll have a play later - get to grips with it all and then I'll let you know how I get on or what I struggle with. Thanks again to all of you
