Hi I have successfully modded pace and samsung boxes all working fine thanks to the people on here mainly

When I was learning however and I was speaking to people I was getting given all sorts of stb's one a sky and one an on digital (bloody ancient I know) I binned the boxes of the said two,but kept the cards.

My question is this ,I know that they are from different companies but can you write rom 10 / 11 images to these "foreign" cards I'm expecting the answer to be a no really,just I'm not 100% has anyone tried before? they are almost exact material wise,just wondering.Any comments appreciated

You're correct. The answer is no. These cards worked along with a different system of encryption. In other words, they don't know how to decode the encrypted signal that comes in via cable. No amount of fiddling with their identity will overcome this problem. Pity! I've got loads of them too.

Stick 'em in a draw pal, come winter they will make excellent ice scrapers for your car

Blinding!! Thanks for all your comments guys,it wasnt an urgency I have spare ntl cards , I was just wondering and this is the community to ask,they would have been useful if you could have.Just wanted to know if they are worth keeping hold of ,so thanks for that.

Think I'll ebay the sky card then? Might just bin them both it surely wont raise that much.

Not much normally. see this item:150374346044 however they have sold for over £20 in the past!
