hi
all you would need to do is split the feed again or get a 3 way splitter to replace the splitter you already have, by the way what box is it you have make and model from the sticker on the back? as it will require modding. regards |

thanks for the reply, i havent got the virgin box at the moment as my m8 needed it back for something but my dad is interested in buying a chipped box anyway but he doesnt have a clue on which 1 to get or wat model/make on the market is the best value for money. could someone help me out and give me some suggestions on which 1 is the best to get which will cost up to £100 and is the best value for money. also if i split my cable line to 3 ways how much will it affect my connection speed and also wat cable/splitter type should i get that will minimise the loss of my connection from splitting it 3 ways and were can i get them from. my current splitter is the 1 virgin media put on and it says on it 5-1000 mhz and also -3.5dB on each side of the splitter. thanks.

You can get a eurovox or kryptview type box they are almost plug and play, have a look at lincsat in classified section he does splitters also.
If you want to mod your own box you need an unlooper and a programmer and maybe a few other items depending on what box, bare in mind that not all boxes can be done if the card has had a deactivation hit. |

thanks for the replies guys but which 1 box do you recommend i get and also which splitter would i need to make sure that my speed does not drop too much and that the signal on both the boxes in my house would be workin properly. my current splitter is a vocom 2 way splitter (5-1000 mhz) and is says -3.5dB on each side. also what are the chances of Virgin Media finding out that i have a chipped box in my house. is there anyway that they can find out? thanks.
