Default Scrambled Channels Question - NOT breaking up

A few channels have now come up with a black screen with the words ' Scrambed Channel ' accross it

This is different from the sticky where the channels are breaking up - I still followed the guidelines ( press info twice to get the frequency number and amend it by 5 or so )

However nothing is working - is there any other way round this other than a rescan? Blighty, Film 4, Kerrang, National Geographic, etc are all like this.

Mate, what's stopping you doing a rescan? It only takes 10mins to sort the channels out and it's likely the only thing to correct your problem.

What box do you have? Are you using the latest firmware?

5100

Last time I did a rescan ( if I am doing it correctly ) LOADS of channels came up again - may have a bit of OCD but I had sorted my faves out and deleted all the crappy channels - however after the rescan they all came up again.

Just a proper ball ache deleting and renaming them

you could try a channel update but if that doesn't work then you'll probably have to go down the rescan route.
