we live in a world governed by samsung and scientific atlanta's ability to create stb's where extracting the bk is near-on impossible!

we could imagine that it wasn't but the missus and the kids would be saying 'it says channel not available at this time' repeatedly

Err...Isn't that quite the contrary to reality, as in your technology is limited by your imagination and nothing else, whereas ours is limited by production techniques, our knowledge, understanding and application of physics, and the underground crew's willingness to share info?

Believe me, it's not my imagination that stops my cable box from receiving PPV (though my imagination sometimes serves as a useful substitute )

im in too deep now, my missue says i garble random hex code in my sleep. this is sometimes mixed in with saying '192.168.100.1' and things like 'use the search button' lol

There are very few in this world who aren't dependant on someone or something else to be able to achieve their goals, even the great Isaac Newton could only see as far as he could because he was "standing on the shoulders of giants".

Chin up, things could be worse. You could be a SciFi geek

Yes, apologies for the confusion - there was an issue in Apache which reset the DNS of a number of sites on the new server, including for chronicles - so everyone from that community was being redirected here because of the DNS issue.

Anyway, it was fixed this morning and seems to have mostly rolled out not, so hopefully everything can get back to normal at both communities.
