Default freezing laptop

Ive just reinstalled xp home on a fujitsu siemens amilo laptop the problem is it freezes afte using it for a while it could be 5 minuet or 55 minuets the screen locks the mouse or keyboard doesent work and i have to turn it off by the power switch i have all the drivers installed its a fresh install so what could the problem be ???

Run Windows update and see what's missing m8.

I installed xp home with sp2 install all updates except sp3 the laptop froze so ive just put on sp3 it hasent froze yet well in the last 20 minuets or so

Quite often it's due to the graphics card drivers, try booting up in safe mode and then if it doesn't freeze download updated deivers from the manufacturers website.

yeah I installed the driver from the manuf web site after the reinstall, it froze so I went to windows update and there was an update for the driver so i updated but still the same

I have always had problems with Windows Grapics updates, especially with XP.
Try booting up in safe mode, if it then doesn't freeze you know that it's a driver issue, if it does freeze then it's possibly a hardware issue.
You can enter safe mode by either pressing F8 on boot up or go to Start, Run and type msconfig click on the Boot tab and Safe Mode.
This is also useful for disabling programs running in the background, click on the start up tab and untick items which might be causing the problem.
