Right i am on dolphin 25 with orange..
I was thinking about buying an unlocked blackberry to use my orange sim in.. I was just wondering what the disadvantages of this would be.. Things like the free internet? And also what is the blackberry pin?... Much help is appreciated. Thanks. |

From what I've just read of the D25 tariff, it does not include data. On that basis, the BB handset would just be a (very flash) phone in your case. Depending on where you are in your current contract, you might be better off speaking to Orange about upgrading to a BB tariff and having them supply the handset - an unlocked BB is going to be well into the hundreds, whereas a BB from Orange in contract will be a lot less.
Most of the Orange BB contracts include "unlimited" data - so all your e-mail and mobile surfing will be inclusive. The PIN is a unique ID for each BB handset - it has various uses; if you phone Orange for help they may ask for it in order to send data to the HS. Another is the BB version of IM - each user links up using their BB PIN.
