Default Another new Eurovox - EX6000SD

There is another new Eurovox about to release, the EX6000SD. It is also a PVR Ready USB receiver like the EX1100, but is a mid-sized box with a UHF Modulator like the EX5100.

This is coming from a different factory to the previous Eurovoxes, but does have Firmware support by "Kuru"

They are due in the next couple of Weeks and it looks like I will be starting them at £90

I'm a bit of a noob. Is this one worth getting over the 5100? Will you be selling one with a hard drive?

They'll probably have 2 more out before 2010 lol

Lincsat, Will you have any specs of it posted up soon?

All I know is that its suppose to be like the Starview 4 USB, but much better with an external USB hard drive for recording & you can watch the recording on your computer using windows media player plus it has PIP (picture in picture).

P.S. Not a fan of the actual design of the box, I'de of thought it would look something similar to the Starview 4/Eurovox EX5100, Maybe its because of the new factory?...Which i doubt

I think that's the site of the original factory. AIUI, one of the Rayyonics guys owns the Eurovox naming rights and he has allowed the new factory to produce official Eurovox boxes to different designs to the original factory.

I hope this isn't going to turn into a complicated mess

Feature wise, it's similar to the EX1100 with the addition of a UHF Modulator and other connections including Component and composite output as you can see from the pictures
