going to buy the FloppyDTV T/CI Refurbished for my windows 7 pc from digital-everywhere will this be all i need to run the cable from my nthell box or do i need a cam card as well if so witch one . can i trust this web site . cheers

Rumour has it they have stopped trading.. You may pick one up on eBay though...

There are plenty of other options for DVB-T if that's what you want...

looks like i have to go down the DVB-T is it the same way as the FloppyDTV T/CI or is it totally different way

What are you trying to do.?

DVB-T is Digital Terrestrial (TV through an aerial).. i.e. Freeview Which is what the FloppyDTV T/CI is.

If you want Cable TV you need a FloppyDTV C/CI which is a DVB-C card.

Just re-read your post.

You will need a DVB-C card to get Cable TV on your PC, The FireDTV ones are hard to get hold of.

That will give you the un-encrypted channels. You will then either need a Hard Cam or SoftCam to decrypt the pay channels.

Have a hunt round the forum, all you need to know is here.
