how to clean card xncs

Hi peeps,
ive got a card rev B09 which ive cleared using the A3c_B09 d2c script, the problem im having is anytime i try to write a new image to it the way it is it allways fails with a write error. I would like to clean the card using rom studio or mrom but both programs always show me a 8020 comms error, im putting it down to my usb to seriel converter. What I would like to know is how to do this using nagraedit, xncs or any other programs thats available.

is the card unlocked, if not then you will need to unlock it first using an unlooper m8.

Cheers for the reply mate, i already unlooped it, i finally got the image to write its a 2110 and im pretty sure ive got the correct bk when i tried the image there, anytime i went to a subscribed channel it said that i had not subscribed to veiw this channel and its only free to view channels that are in bold in the menu, what do you think do i need a new image?
im in glasgow which is a pure area.

This tut will show you how to set up your Mosc card m8;


Setting up you Mosc card
Open you card in Nagra 4.1 and click on read from card “blue arrow” if you card is unlocked then all the details will be displayed, then click Data Editor “underneath the blue arrow” then follow these steps to set up your Mosc card;
* Tier: '01 IRD Info (41)’:
*Edit the sub tiers:
-IRD number (enter your IRD number “backwards” in normal format)
-BoxKey (enter your BoxKey number in normal format)
* Tier: '06 Provider Info (58)’: This is where you enter your Cam Id;
(you can make up a combination of numbers/ letters to replace xxxxxx use 1, 9 & A, F)
-TW Cam ID starts with 2CXXXXXX example 2C31E7D1
-CW Cam ID starts with 27XXXXXX
-Pure Cam ID starts with 24XXXXXX
* Tier: '08 Standard tier (31)’: Edit the sub tiers:
-Expiry Date (using Nagradate - enter a future date in here in hex format)
-Rights Date (using Nagradate - enter a future date in hex format MUST be different to expiry date)
-Rights Identifier (TW: 9896D9 or Pure: 9896D6)
-Min Channel (keep as 0001)
-Max Channel (any number between 1000 and 32415 - make sure you convert this to hex format using Windows calc)
-Modification Date (can be altered to any date in the past - just to make your image unique -- hex format)
-Begin Date (can be altered to any date in the past - must be a date before the modification date you enter - hex format)
For all the dates you can use NagraDate Converter “it’s in the download section” so you can change the date from Dec to Hex, example “21/07/2009 = 24A7”
Once you’ve done all that click on write to card in Nagra 4.1 (Red Arrow) then insert the card in your box, if everything was done correct you should get all the channels, if not just go over it again and correct any mistakes.

Remember if you unlooped the card and it starts with 6D56, then the box will have been deactivated by the cc.. Therefor... Doorstop im afraid

Thanks for your replys guys will write new image with different dates just now, the box key starts with 78164 so its not fake but could still be false just hope not.

Just tried it again with the game uk image in downloads, set the dates myself and still no luck so looks like another door stop :-( this time I thought I had the correct bk because anytime ive got the wrong one I usually get black channels this time ive been getting a msg saying im not subscribed to view these channels so had my hopes up. If anyone has a working image for glasgow please let me know.

Think glasgow is pure yeh so just download a working rom11 pure image.

hi gaz sorry to butt in to someone elses post the rom 11 i downloaded has the same expiry date as the rights date why does it have to be different mate will it affect my card
