No it's not normal and sounds like you've got problems.
Is this re-direction only happening when you visit Techwatch, or are you being re-directed quite often?

I am not getting redirected. I just notice that when techwatch is loading. That on the bottom task bar it says that it is waiting for www.paypal.com.Which I stop.
If I am not buying anything I do not see why I should be connecting to paypal.
I have no viruses. In fact I have never had one.I am constantly formatting my drives.

I thought that maybe I was cracking up.I am on my eeepc 1000he at the moment. But on reloading techwatch the waiting for info,on the bottom task bar go'es by very fast. But I am sure that I see waiting for paypal flash past.
NOW I maybe cracking up, but I use an old packard bell 900mhz athlon pc in the shed. It's that slow that you have time to see what It s waiting for on the bottom task bar.I will take note tomorrow.

There is a paypal link on one of the skins, for fourum donations. It briefly makes a connection to paypal to download the logo (I think)

edit:

yes it is the Donate button, which is hosted on the Paypal site.
