Default Eurovox Chip

I heard a rumour that there is a chip available to mod a Eurovox so that there is no need for manually entering codes periodically when the zap signal comes along. The chip apparently works a bit like a key generator and the box automatically finds the correct keys so there is no downtime in viewing and waiting for new codes to be found & posted.

Is this is a load of bull, or does anyone know what chip this rumour above is referring to.

Cheers

Sorry, I'm a noob. What's AU firmware? Does it keep the box on constant without it going off and new codes entered? cheers

AU= Auto-Roll , This will keep your box alive until Virmin start playing silly buggers like they did last November , Been nearly a year now since the last change , Would expect some disruption around Christmas though. ( Thats my opinion , Not fact )
