Just appeared tonight. it pops up when the channel is turned over, the same time the channel guide comes on at the bottom of the screen (vanishes the same time too). Anyone know how to stop it appearing? Thanks.

if you turn the power of to the box you will have a door stop m8 its a clone and you have flashed it with f/w above the v1.07

thanks for the replies all. To be honest i'm not exactly clued up on the lingo. Recently flashed it with no probs, just started yesterday. didn't think it was a clone, bought from DVB Junkie.

Whats a jtag m8

door stop means the box will be no good m8
a jtag can bring boxes back to live but not in your case hope this helps

Hi Folks.

The V1.12 software also has bugs just like the V1.10 did.

When version V1.12 is installed on a genuine Starview 4 USB, it is showing a message that the box is a clone. This is causing alot of people confusion, even when you know that the box is 100% genuine.

I think its best to stick with V1.07 as this is the only software version that seems to be running smoothly.

yes your right but when you get the message there is no way back as it kills the bootloader
it seems to be happening to early genuine as well as clones
i no i put clone on my first post but when i realised i could not edit
and i do know you own the site mentioned and i have put alot of business your way and still will
i no your boxes are genuine it must have been a early batch
as i have said here stick to the v1.07
important to all starview 4 owners uk

i no you have been sending thease boxes out with firmware on it and will you help this person out with a new box as you do put later firmware on them
