A Few Questions About The New Eurovox Ex1100USB

Hi, Before I ask the questions...I've looked on the forum & searched some topics and have a rough idea on some of the questions I'm aksing but not 100% sure and the first question I haven't got a clue about is...

1) Is there a cdf channel list for the Leeds area? (I can't seem to find one in the sticky thread)

2) In my favourites can I drag channels into diffferent named "sections"?

3) Whats the average amount of channels you've got on your Eurovox 1100?

4) When I'm on EPG I've noticed that most of the channels don't have the viewing programmes listed on, Is that common?

5) Last but not least, Whats the best toolbar to download for updates etc as theres a few I think? Not too sure about that.

P.S. Hope you don't mind with all the questions, Its my first Eurovox (Not used to these yet) & going through threads atm so might find a few answers but would appreciate it if you could help me out

Hi, A few answers hope it helps.

1) EX1100 doesn't use cdf channel data, it's uses UDF so any previous eurovox channel data will not work on this box.

2)Yes u can movie favourites into other sections using menu favourites option.

3) I have about 340 channels these include repeats and empty channels. Actual channels just over about 200.

4) I don't think the EPG populates fully at moment unless your on the channel. Hopefully gets fixed in the future with a FW update.

5) Probably chatterbox, google it.

Correct me if im wrong on any point. Just fot mine recently, but seems to be great box just needs some little changes. Hopefully a new FW out soon.

Yeah I've also got mine recently & i'm totally new to it as I've always used modded box's but I'm impressed with it soo far & yeah it does need a little tweeks here & there...I've also noticed that when your recording something it lets you watch something else but on mine it only seems to do it when you go on EPG and the channels that have time listings on them & on the channels that dont have listings it just is blank, Have you got this problem or am I doing something wrong?

Which area are you from because I've only got 265 channels & thats including repeats & empty channels?

Have you got any idea on how to work the subtitles?

You can only watch other cahnnels that are broadcast on the same frequency as the channel you are recording from, this is because all eurovox's only have a single transponder.

Dont think the subtitles are working with the new firmware yet, (not 100% sure about this thou)

Ive just updated an EX1100 here. To save your UDF. Go to upgrade by USB and go on "Dump channel data" and "Dump keys" I dumped both because I would assume the keys would be either the emu or the symbol rate and the UDF file is basically a CDF file
