Hi guys my mate gave me 4 modems to flash, before i done anything i made sure what lights came on the modem when plugged in with power supply and ethernet cable.
this is what i got one ambit 255 with power light on,and slightly flashing enet goes connected but cant log in 192.168.100.1 one ambit 255 with power light on, enet light steady send and sync flashing very fast. limited connectivity. one ambit 250 with power light on, enet flashing now and then limited connectivity one ambit 250 with power light on, enet flashing now and then limited connectivity i have heard you can tsop them. so what would be my best bet. do you have to lift the chips. i have never revived a bricked modem before. but successfully flashed more than 10 ambit 250 and 255. thanks

1st off you'll need a willem programmer or some other programmer with an tsop48 adapter

it's not that hard if your ok with this sort of thing but really hard if your not. begin reading up on how to do it first m8 before buying a willam and then work out if you think you could do it. the hardest part of it isn't lifting the tsop that part is so easy ,it's putting it back down ,now thats a pain in the a**.

what ambit config tool are you using, i downloaded one from another website and used it. bricking about 6 modems, i did some more reading on that site and it turns out it was the tool bricking the modems. it was wipeing something and not put it back. im looking into learning how to remove tsops aswell.
