EX1100 problems

Hi everyone!
Im new here but im having troubles finding any channels on a new EX1100 i just bought.

Ive flashed the latest firmware and reset to factory defaults but no matter what scan i do i cant find any channels, not even the FTA ones.

For example, i just tried a deep scan at 6887 (im in an ex NTL area) and it scans for about 10 minutes before saying "No program found!"

I have a legal V+ box that works fine on the same connection. Ive tried with a splitter and also with only the ex1100 connected the the vm feed.

Im at a loss as to what to try next. Am i doing anything wrong or missing something?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I got it working!
In the end i went to TP list and added one manually (739mhz, 6887baud, 64QAM) and scanned for channels on that freq. Not only did it find channels (about 10 on that freq) but when i retried a quick scan it found hundreds.

Ive reset to factory defaults and reproduced this so it looks like there may be a bug. Hopefully this will help someone else if they have the same problem.
