eurovox 2 remote not working

i just got a eurovox 2 but the remote doesnt work but it works on another box so the remote must be ok. now i cant get in to the box cause when it comes to putting the 4 zeros password in i cant because the remote dont work and there is nowhere on the box itself to do it.the keys on the box only get me to the password then im stuck.ive flashed it but its not worked i think i need to delete the channels 1st but cant cause of the password again..can anybody help thanks
