Default Serial & PS/2

I was just wondering if you have both PS/2 & serial ports in your motherboard and you plug a serial mouse with serial port and a PS/2 mouse with PS/2 port. Now when you start windows, which of them will work or both will work? I've tried it at friend's computer.. I'll let you know about the experience after few posts in this thread
