Default Intermitantly lossing connection then ok help?

Hi TW,

(abit of background)

Im having a bit of a wierd and probably issolated problem, im using a good 20mb mac that ive used for around 7months now solid, it tends to go off and set the modem into scanning ranging cycle every month or 3 weeks but once unplugged and left for between 1-24h connects up with new tftip server new dynamic config and is stable for another month. Running test fix 0.2 not forcing no assigned tftip and on bps 1.1 i think

(The Problem)

Only recently the modem was sent into the cannot lock ds frequency ranging cycle and seemed unable to get past it this time so i plugged in my subbed connection and looked at what ds it was using and it had changed from i think 330750000 to this one 586750000 the problem is now the modem works but every 24h or probably less as i carnt monitor the connection all the time, i just loose the net it goes dead then within 10mins comes on again its a really annoying fault.

Can anyone more versed in modems possibly explain or shed some light on this should i try some different Ex C&W frequencies that G77 posted here

Ambit 250 Won't Lock On

298750000
330750000
586750000
314750000
306750000
322750000

to see if the modems more stable or maybe change the Ds/Us channel ID. Thanx.

just an update for anyone else who might have had this problem just tried freq 298750000 on a different channel and the conection is super fast and rock sold and locks straight away, i guess 586750000 might be overloaded or used for slower connection in my area.
