TM 1000 Series Dummies Guide to Changing the TPS AES Keys
Obtain the latest TPS AES keys from the Tech-Tronix site or use the Key Finder software. Print it out, or write it down.
Note: Digit = a letter OR a number. Go to an encrypted TPS/Multivision channel. Press Mute Press Exit You now enter Key Edit mode for CAS Viaccess Ident TPS France (007C00) We need to edit the digits on Keylines 01 & 11 Press Down Key (Ch Down) FOUR times. We are now highlighting the first digit on the 01 Keyline. Press OK Screen now shows a Key Pad. Using the Left/Right arrow keys on your remote, move to the required new digit. Press OK Notice that the first digit on Keyline 01 has now changed to then new one needed. Repeat this process for the next 15 digits, highlighting then OK to change each one. If you make an error use the left/right arrow boxes on the Key Pad to move around. Once you have entered the last digit on Keyline 01 Press EXIT Press Down Arrow Key on your remote TWICE. We are now highlighting the first digit on the 11 Keyline. repeat the process as above to change each digit to the new one required. When you have entered the 16 required digits Press Exit, then Press Exit again. You now get the Save options, Press Left arrow key to highlight YES then Press OK to save. Press Mute. Power down the receiver and then re-boot. The channel should now open no problem. If it is still encrypted, use Mute then Exit to display the Keylines & check for errors. Laters |

With TM1000 do you only use keylines 01 and 11 to change TPS keys, or can you use others e.g. 0B/1B, 0C/1C, etc.
Also is TPS 007c0 or 00800 or 00780? Thanks again |

on the tm 1000 series you enter tps keys on lines 01 and 11 and tps is 00-7c-00. you do use other idents for other providers have a good look at the video file on entering keys with the remote and entering them with the softcam key files. |

Thank you clipper. One more question. Why does TPS comes on and off every few minutes. When its on it stays for few seconds and disappears again. If the keys on my TM1000 are out of date, why does it come on??

Looking for some help, how do you get to edit the tps aes keys? how do you know which channels are tps? i selected a channel called tps foot on my tms1500 ci pressed mute then exit with my remote control but nothing happened. how do you get into to edit the keys?
