Hi, im unable to receive encrypted channels through Windows Media Centre in Windows 7. I have synced all my channels from DVB Link into WMC and only a couple of the fta channels play (BBC 1, 2, ITV,channel 4HD thats about it) but the encrypted ones dont play at all.
Most of the channels say 'No data available' All the channels play perfect in DVBviewer on its own. Any ideas anyone? Im using DVBViewer Pro 4.0.0.0. and DVB Link 1.0 |

This may be a stupid question, but have you definitely tuned against the DVBLink tuner (shows as DVB-S) and not directly to your dvb-c card in 7MC?

Taximonkey, DVBviewer works in the background only (like a service) if you have DVBlink installed properly. Did you set up as a DVB-S tuner #1 and then run the sync tool in the apps menu ? If so, how many channels did it find ?

When i start my windows session i have to cntrl/alt/delete and stop DVBViewer then start it again and it minimises to the task bar. Yes m8 i set it up as tuner 1 Satellite and then synced channels from dvb link. It found a lot of channels but only the basic fta ones work, all the others say 'No data available'.

Cheers radoman, tried that and still didnt work.
Ive given up on it now and uninstalled DVBLink. Just happy with DVBViewer working perfectly on its own so im just gonna leave well alone for the time being! |

Have you got a legit version of DVBViewer? looking at your version number I suspect not
![]() If I am right then i suspect that is your problem because the amount of crippled versions out there make me think the developers have something to do with it!! If I am wrong then update it to the latest version and see if the problem is fixed |
