Default Flashing 5101E Modem with Haxorware using Win 7

Noob here!

Hello. I'm trying to flash my 5101E using the Haxorware instructions.

I've soldered the 10 pins and have the jtag connected to the computer, with the ethernet connection and power on.

I can change the nic card without problems, but on the next stage where I am supposed to start the tftp server, it won't start.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

Why are you using TFTPD32 if you soldered a JTAG pin header? I used Schartzekat (or however it's spelt) to flash my SB5101. Tom's JTag Utility also works but I can't remember the commands.

Did I not need to solder the pins then, if using the Haxorware?

Oh well, I guess they're there now for the proverbial "rainy day" then.

I thought it might have been something to do with using Win 7, so I went back to Vista on my system.

So when I flash the modem, I don't need to have it attached to the com1 port then? Can I just have it hooked up to the ethernet cable with the power on, and follow the haxorware instructions?

For some rean though, my TFTP server doesn't want to start though. Do I need to ensure the ECP option is activated in the bios?
