I have a question i have a chartman ponyprog i have looked around for a tut no luck im not that good at soldering. But I also have a ambit 256 prog with test clip can i use this to set net id for my v+ box instead of ponyprog or should i use ponyprog but i cant find tut wizardmods is shutdown.

you can use the clip but you have to take the chip off the board still. its a good idea to fold a bit of card behind the legs because the force of the clip squashes the chip

ok mate i dont want to be spoon fed but how do i id the chip the same way as ambit chip also i do not no ware to start with a dump im in pure

im not totally sure how they work but you just want to blank the chip if your in pure.

not sure ponyprog or whatever has that option but if you write a blank dump to it it'll be blanked.

pm me if you need a blank.

remember you can use swapbinhex if your programmer requires it in the other format.

i know with the willem you dont get an id option, it just gives an error if theres a bad connection. not sure if this is the same with your kit?

Have a look in Other Cable TV downloads from Private FTA mate. The file you want is called V+ Application.

ok I have replaced chip with blank chip i live in pure i have forced an update but all it gose to is ap 52 and when i check net id its not the same and when i go int em menu it reboots do i have change freq but it dont give me no time to
