Just found out that starview are bringing out an HD version which works both Cable and Satellite, sounds good to me..jay
PS...sorry, just read the same on post..is starview 5 history by jonpc...how ever..makes good reading...lol starview hd the ultimate receiver is coming mid november! Now you can have hd cable and hd satellite from one receiver just check out the spec: •high definition cable & satellite receiver (dual tuner) •capable of receiving satellite and cable transmissions simultaneously •2 x usb ports (both pvr ready) •individual satellite and cable hd tuners •embedded twin common interface slot •embedded card reader •diseqc 1.2 •usals this is a full hd receiver not an upscaler! Full spec coming soon!

Thats the Eurovox HD, Kryptview HD, Now the Starview HD, all ranging from roughly the same price £190+..these prices should drop shortly due to competition now...

I like the look of the Starview HD, not too sure about the Eurovox, not seen the Kryptview one yet

Ah, but can the sat side connect to public servers?
or be used like linux receivers? This time they better not be let down by fw!
