Atmega NetID card Works on 3.7
Just a quick one to confirm that the Atmega NetID trick works on a Pace 4000 box on 3.7 software. The software downgrade trick also works if you set another netID in e.g. Manchester or Blackburn/Burnley.....
While investingating the 3.7 thing, i have a box with a logger in. I'm all logged on 3.6 with fun, atmega, rom10 and rom11.
It was time to get the box on 3.7.
Pulled red jumper, inserted Leeds NetID atmega card. Box took the hit and downloaded 3.7
I then tried to get the box back on my netID to do the logging.
Made another atmega with my netID. I did pull the jumper (to test first) and inserted card.
It didnt hit it straight away but after a few mins, my box is back on 3.6 and on my netID!
(obv i'll have to not pull the jumper and set with libby to keep my 3.7 software next time)__________________

I did read 4000 3.7 did not have funcard problem - possibly due to clock frequency been different (around 4.5mhz vs other boxes ~5.02mhzQuote:Originally Posted by G77

Thanks for that. Maybe the 4000 wasn't the best choice to fit the logger in then.
Not logged or tried the Fun/Atmega when viewing yet. Will post results when i have.__________________

Just like to add to this.. the Funcard works seting netID on the Pace 4000 on 3.7 software too__________________
