BOUGHT A 256 AMBIT ALREADY MODDED WITH LATEST HAXOWARE FROM FLEABAY. Sniffed a few macs tried with no success so thought it might be a dodgy modem. Decided to use mac address from my other modem also a 256 ambit with legit connection same company. Connected modded modem got onto haxoware site put in new settings and mac of legit modem and it still wont connect to the internet. Any help much appreciated.

When i got the modded modem it came with tutorials one for forced and unforced haxoware tutorial what is the difference and which should i use. Thanks a lot guys Luke

I have managed to get to the VM activation page with some macs is this any good.

have you set the frequency on the haxorware config page?

when you get the activation page it means the mac is no good.

the only answer is simply try more macs.

yep set frequency to my privider ntl. Followed steps to the T over and over... Wow these really aint plug and play but i will be happy when it all finally works

yes i agree i spend ages the other day serching through a large list to find the decent ones its trial and error mate.

Thats why i used my legit mac address but even that aint working with modded modem??? But legit modem is working hence im online now

oh rite well did you deffinatly type it in correctly did the box show green after you typed it in? also did you do the usb mac?

you cant use your legit modem mac address on a modded modem.

thats because its in the same ubr area.

when you use dhcp sniffer bruteforce it finds macs outside your ubr area which is what you need.
