From Wednesday 7th October 2009, all Cable boxes will be sold with FTA only firmware installed. Firmware updates are easy with the new Starview boxes by using a USB Keydrive and the firmware available through various forums or the Bigmaq toolbar, full instructions will be included.

I will be dropping my prices at the same time to reflect the change. I am also ceasing to sell the EX5100 when current stocks are exhausted due to lack of demand.

The usual service and after-sales support by e-mail will of course continue. I will continue to guarantee to sell original boxes only, no clones and unlike most other traders, you will not invalidate the warranty just by updating the firmware on the box.

The new poilicy is now in effect, all Eurovoxes have been reduced by £5 - don't forget your forum discount of 5% is still available
