Hi everyone,

I am thinking of buying one of three branded receivers and I would appreciate any recommendation as well as pros and cons on any of these devices.

I am trying to decide on one of the following:
1- nokia dbox2
2- eurovox max
3- fta101

nokia dbox 2 mate far more support than any of the others plus bigger selection of images

Dbox2 nokia or sagem, i personally prefer sagems, but they are the best of the three mentioned

I have an fta101. Pretty good all in all, but internal clock gains 5 minutes per day!! I am now struggling to get hold of hex codes for NTL so this will reduce its usefulness a lot...

dbox2 is not the best its the eurovox 2 or max the dbox 2 have been going down all the time december 80% went down

80% went down coz everyone wanted to try the new eurovox box but after that the average price of a Dbox on ebay has gone from Ã‚Â£90 inc. del to around Ã‚Â£120 in del.

this is because everyone has realised that the Dbox is the better value for money box out there :ninja:

There was an ECM (electronic counter measure) in December which stopped some d-boxes from Auto-updating, there was a fix the same day. There has been an ECM to stop the FTA101's from auto-updating and there still isn't a fix. The dbox2 (and dreambox) have the best support.

well i'v just got a eurovox max 3 and it's cool m8,,, no probs yet lol
