Available from the Private FTA Download links.
Fixes the SLOT 0 OUT problem Put in the root of a USB device and insert into box, on power up the box will detect the drive, press Menu, then from Tools "Upgrade by USB", select the file and make sure the mode is S/W, press RED then OK to load.. Do a factory reset and delete all channels, then rescan. Still to do: Fix EPG for some areas Default to stereo audio rather than LEFT

Do you know when the EPG fix will come out?
After I've done the above can I load my own channel list? Last edited by Adz; 07-10-09 at 12:04 AM. |

It will come out as soon as it is ready. You should be able to load your own channel list - try it and report back.

KBN*...My mistake cant edit the above post & ignore the other 2 posts, I figured it all out in the end plus I recovered the channel list file so that was a big relief...
I only got the "SLOT" message once since I've had the box anyway but so far I haven't got any messages like that but the only message I got once which was out of the blue is "No Data !", never had that before... I see they've changed the EPG layout which looks much better which shows all the channel info individually & if you press the EPG button again while your on EPG it takes you to the normal standard EPG layout where you can view all the channels list without it taking you directly to the program when you scroll on it which I find that a plus as I didn't like it when it took you straight to the channel when your scrolling through the list but you can still do that on the first EPG menu by scrolling left or right on individual channels... They've changed the radio channel list to the normal all channels menu style but i liked the previous one for the radio menu... The EPG channel listing isn't 100% yet but it seems to be working abit better for me now even though its aimed at fixing the "SLOT" message problem and after a while the box being on it shows much more listings than it did before... Overall its better than it was but I'm looking forward to the next firmware release, Hopefully it'll fix the EPG problem & all other bugs. P.S. I'm in a pure area. |

To turn on subtitles...
Menu > Preference > OSD Setting > Subtitle Display > ON On some channels the subtitles are spot on & some are totally out of sync & others they don't come on at all...Its abit of a mix. |

Hi Lincsat,
apologies for being a bit dim on this issue, but when you mention the FTA Private download...where is this ? Very new to the forum and haven't a clue what that is. I am using the firmware EX1100USB_SEP01 and I have just started to have voice over issues(some pesky bloke chatting away when non narrative stuff happens in the movie), even when I attempt to alter the setting using the green button it doesn't help.....so was hoping the new firmware may help. Up in chilly Edinburgh.
