Best thing for you is buy another from the same poeple.

Well, you say you want to buy another, let them show you a new one, when you have it in your hands walk off with it.

If anyone stops you, then you can say its a different serial number and it is not theirs and then get the event manager who will confirm with you.

Also if you want genuine working Eurovox EX7000 £165 delivered + 7 days money back garantee - let me know I can give you a link.

Hi all just a quick update on whats happened. Theyve taken the **** now to be honest. In the week I contacted consumer direct, they told me they were in breach of the sales of goods act (as amended). They want to pass my details on to local trading standards which I've just sent them...

I've been to the show tonight and as soon as we got their the show manager said the trader has told him tonight that the manufacturer is refusing to do anything so there's nothing more they can do, which was completely different from what we were told last week by the trader, they said they were waiting for 2 parts for the box.

So my dad goes over to the seller to have a massive go at them, the seller then said that the manufacturer is still trying to fix it?! He said the 2 parts they tried didn't work and are waiting for another part for it (which i believe is total bull****). My dad said the show manager just told us that they were not gonna fix it at all and the seller said the show manager is wrong. We then went over to the show manager with the seller and the show manager told us he must have misinterpreted what the seller told us before. Its a big **** up not only from the seller but also the show manager too!

It's been going on for 1 month now (4 weeks to the day since i bought the box) and for 3 of the weeks we've been without the faulty box and also £170 down. Total ****take. Trading standards it is now, **** em, ill tell them about the illegal firmware they have on a disc spool under their counter too.

Well another week down. The show is on tonight, but my dad has received a TEXT MESSAGE from these people simply saying "No word from suppliers. pls wait til next week". Taking the **** or what.

I was advised by Trading Standards to send the trader a letter via post giving them 14 days and then go from there. TS seemed pretty confident regarding my case though.

wow if this had been me id have gone abck to the guy and asked for a full refund before i beat his face against his own stock or if he would prefer i would stand there for a few hours turning away any customers that came to buy from him.

dont take that **** its being repaired thats for him to sort out not you,, he sold it to you its faulty he repays you and he bears the brunt of the repairs.

if he has another box he swaps yours for that... if he doesnt show him his stock very close up.... face first.

then when you knock him out take your money back.

thats just how i would play it anyway...

but then again i believe a short sharp smack in the mouth sorts out a lot of problems..!!

regards dave

A mates box did similar but this occurred after updating the firmware - it got stuck in the now booting loop.

He's been told the only way to fix it is to JTAG it which isn';t availble yet apparently, bit of a joke.

Just a quick update on this. I contacted trading standards and they were happy to take on the case. But so far nothing has been resolved. The company refused to reply to any letters sent to them by myself. Trading Standards have now sent 2 letters and also haven't had a reply.

Since I took the box back a week after I bought it, I am still £170 and WITHOUT the faulty box.
