Hi everyone

am a bit of a newbie when it comes to the dbox2.
this my sound stupid sorry but do you need to have a Subscription with telewest/ntl
to receive channels.

am only asking as i have got old connection to telewest/ntl,
can connect the dbox to the old connection to get channels or will i need to subscribe to telewest/ntl.

Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place am just getting use to this.

Subscription - YES to be legit.

But there are other means that cant be discussed within these forums because NTL etc will close us down.

It's possible that the cableco could cut the feed to your house if you're not actually subscribing to anything. A basic subscription to cable internet or TV will ensure the feed stays active.
