Theres also the other illegal bluejacking as well where you "hack" into someones phone and call a premium rate number that YOU set up. I always switch my bluetooth off when I dont use it as a)I have better security b) It saves battery

yes, there is that bluejacking too, its been well known about people getting thier phones hacked

I remember a friend told me he could get my phone to do what he wanted, i told him to do it, i accepted a file and it asked me do i want to use the modem, i turned round to my mate and said "thats the sh*ttest thing i've ever seen, why would i accept a connection"

yes, abit of a letdown story, but when software like that wants to use my modem theres no chance im letting it

Thats one of the free software thats used most likely. The real hustle did it and they phoned their own premium rate line using someone elses phone that they bluejacked. The "mark" didnt suspect a thing as he didnt even have to accept the file/invitation to pair etc.. and they would have made a fortune if they were dodgy hustlers in real life(Well the programme is real life, but you know what I mean)

lol, yes i know what you mean, some people argue the real hustle shouldn't be on TV because it gives people ideas, the simple fact is, everything on there can be found on the internet, its just making it known!

I saw the one where Jess asked to borrow a phone and set up a premium rate text service for someone...how nice

Hmm.. I agree with you there but people who dont know tend to believe you if you say they showed it on The real hustle eg: I went to a theme park, and I told some of my friends that nearly all prize games were rigged one way or another. They didnt believe me. I then told them that the people on the real hustle showed the same scam carried out. Thats when they believed me

To be fair, even knowing you were about to be scammed, surely you would still gladly hand over that phone..

Infact, would you not insist that she use it, I mean that is, IF, she did indeed come up to you..

I know what I'd do
