Fake IRD & BK

Hi all,

I need some advice for the case of IRD 00 00 00 00 and false Box key number.

Is it possible that only the IRD number was hit and not the BK (or must be both) ?

That isn't looking good. If the IRD comes back 00 00 00 00 after unlooping the card, the BK is 9/10 times fake. What box is the card for?

Doesn't an IRD of 00000000 usually mean a new box thats never be activated?

Yes it can do but if the BK is fake then the IRD is usually 00 00 00 00.

Actually I ve got to do 2 x 2100c boxes for ex C&W area (both boxes will remain in the same area).

The first is old with the n*l logo. The BK is 6B .. ..
The second is with vi*gin logo. The BK is 6D .. ..

For both boxes I removed the talkbacks and then I unlooped using sidewinder..

Regarding the old 2100c I had to enter the co40 BD password in nagraedit, in order to read the card.

I can't get it, this card was done before or not?

Is it possible that the card was done, but since the talkbalk wasn't done, then the provider was able to hit the box?

The first BK is good, the second looks bad. Do the following digits continue with 56? If so, JTag it to get the correct box key.

The first BK is 6B 0E .. ..
The second is 6d 56 .. ..

If the first BK is good then why the IRD is 00 00 00 00
The first box is not activated ?

So the only fake BK is the 6d 56 .. .. ?

Also I have never jtag-ed before, but I think that I ve got the equipment.
Can you plese let me know what to do..

Also can you explain again from where I get the nagra serial in order to convert it in IRD

Hi

Nagra serial can be got from the EM there should be tut on jtag on the 2100 somewhere on the forum, if you cant find it pm me and I`l send it on to you.

get the serial number from the bottom of the sammy 2100 it is a thin barcode EG:1044123456 a ten digit number then open your windows xp/vista calculator click on dec then enter your 10 digit number then after you have entered it click on hex and you should have your ird EG:3e123456

Finally I used for first time my pogo sammy jtag reader.
In Samsung Debug Tool (beta) there 2 configs for ex C&W.
Which one should I use?
